Current Obsessions

getting enough sleep to function on, Diet Mountain Dew as a sleep substitute, perfecting my Spring Gym Playlist on my iPod, drinking more water, finding more time in a day, PG Wodehouse, making lists, worrying about not worrying, trying to do better today rather than waiting until tomorrow to try and do better, reassessing my new year's resolutions (The Quarterly Report), bronze (it's the new pink, you know), checking my e-mail, Target, Jergen's daily self tanner, finding a new house to rent, trying not to think about moving, turkey sandwiches, tulips, 10 pounds, 24, MPH (walking, jogging, running, biking), making sure my alarm clock is set early enough that I can hit the snooze at least once, learning more (about pretty much everything)

The house across the street from us is vacant. Let me know if y'all want the number.

So what's on your Spring Gym Mix? After April 15 I'm gonna be such a gym rat...I can't believe I've managed to exercise about 85% of the weeks between January and now - despite the workload...really excited, sleep deprived, and caffeinated.

I think a lot about getting a workout mix together, esp. the more energetic I'm feeling...for some reason, PINK of all people, I find "workout motivating." I like harder stuff for weights...the music on the workout DVD's I use is the only complaint I have about the workouts - it's incredibly lame elevator "Muzak" with (kind of) a beat...I used to have "Dirty Vegas" playing in the background, but lately I've just been putting up with the lame stuff.

I've decided I'm rewarding myself with an iPod nano for a) all the extra work I've been doing, and b)for the weight loss - it's better than celebrating with food...was gonna wait until more of the new SUV was paid off, but I'm starting to re-think that too...what do you think of your Nano?

Nice to know someone else that sets their alarm early enough to hit the snooze about a dozen times. I do that like every day.

Love ya!

E-mail the number to me, if you think about it, Emily.

I do it pretty much every day, too, Vickie.

Brad, I love my nano. You should get one. I'll post my playlist seperately.

As a fellow pale person, I can not praise Jergen's daily self tanner enough.
