Confessions

*I have been known to buy products based solely on their shiny packaging.

*I set my alarm clock 30 minutes early every day just so I can get some snooze time in.

*I re-potted a plant last week, ending my long streak of not voluntarily touching dirt.

*I watched Bride & Prejudice this weekend, and even though it was one of the most bizarre movies I've ever seen, I kind of liked it.

*I have little or no sympathy for lazy people.

My guess is that it had British people with Indian descent in the movie. The big Taj Mahal-esque building in the background gives it away.

I did like "Bend it like Beckham" though... I might give it a try.

Actually, after watching the trailer, that looks pretty cool.

My sis wants to watch the new Pride & Prejudice with Keira Knightly (who was in Bend it like Beckham, oddly enough).

Actually, the Indians in the movie spoke English with an Indian (rather than Bristish accent). It took me a few minutes to understand their accents. The weirdest thing about the movie was that it was a musical...I mean an old-school-Hollywood-random-people-in-the-streets-bursting-out-into-song sort of musical. I think I'll watch it again before I return it.

I haven't seen Bend It Like Beckham, but I hear good things.
I forgot about the new P & P coming out, but I am looking forward to it.

My heart is deeply and sincerly attached to the original A&E Pride and Prejudice. It is so close to the books; it's wonderful. It would be difficult for me to watch a remake. Maybe I could if I only considered it a movie, instead of P&P.

I too watched that movie this weekend! I loved it simply because of the music: I've been listening to a lot of that sort of stuff lately. Nice and light-hearted, with some good insights if you stop to think about it. Nothing compares to the A&E, though.

I'm with you on no sympathy for lazy people.
As far as the shiny packaging...maybe you're a racoon?
