Friday Fiver

1. Number of jobs you've held: Eight, several of which are too embarrassing to name (hey, I've been working since I was 15)

2. Biggest raise, by percent: 46%

3. Have you ever quit? only because I was moving

4. Have you ever been fired? negative

5. Worst mistake, while on the job: either letting people walk all over me because I don't like to put up a fight or making people do things they didn't want to do because I was their boss and I didn't care if they liked me. I'm sure there are individual instances where I've done really stupid things at work, but we don't have to go there, do we?

1. Can't remember(too many).
2. 100%, but it was from $20-40 for a job.
3. Yes, I have repeated the words to an obnoxious country song when quiting.
4. Yes, when I was 12, I was fired from a saddle-makers shop for being too weak.
5. Not walking all over people when I had the opportunity. Just joking. Discontentment is my single biggest work related mistake.

long time no comment. I just had to change jobs myself(elimination of my position). No worries, serious stress for a few days, but a good move to office manager of a pediatrician's office. Anyways, here's my answers:
1. Too many...like 14 since 16 yrs old
2. 100%, but they didn't deliver, so I left
3. Yes, and I played that obnoxious country song on my computer as I walked out
4. Yes, from a roofing company...the other supervisor besides myself thought I was stealing his thunder, said fire him or I quit...I got fired
5. Taking too much crap, not standing up to people, even bosses, when I knew I was right and their pride was costing us money and they would blame me for it
