Here at verbingnouns, we like to keep in touch with public opinion. So here's the question:
Panchos: Hot or Not?
I have to say I like some of them. (In fact, I have one.) But I read this article and I can't say I entirely disagree. What do you think?

That one Anniston is wearing in the picture is gay. That's not a poncho. That's just gayness threaded, dyed, and marketed. She should be ashamed. And Brad Pitt should punish her conscience.
Hm, rain ponchos (though not Real ponchos) can also be the sex - a la Bruce Willis in Unbreabale. So there.
Posted by: The Dane at October 18, 2004 02:48 PMBeing a former soldier, I think of a poncho(or pancho) as that green piece of material that can keep you dry in the rain, can keep you warm at night(we used them as blankets when the weather was clear), or can be used as a tarp/tent. Not exactly the thing I think of when I look at the picture in that article, but hey, who's being critical?

But these Ponchos do nothing but give the idea that a person is hiding something. There are better ways to hide what a person would be hiding with a poncho like that.
