The Count Down

I'm getting ready to head out to the great white north on Saturday. (Hopefully, it will not actually be white, but it's always a possibility.) I've been really tense this week, trying to think of all the things I need to have done before I leave for 11 days. I'm taking this economics class and I have to take the midterm before I leave (which basically means I have to take it tomorrow) and I'm not ready for it. I also had my first class in Money and Banking last night, so I'll be taking a load of homework with me for some fun airplane reading. I also had another car incident last night, so I now have a new battery, which will hopefully get me to Dallas on Friday. (And thanks again, Aaron and Robbie for fixing it for me.)
I made a list of all the things I need to pack, so now the task is to figure out how to fit it all into my suitcases. I just can't pack fewer than 6 pairs of shoes. It's against my nature.
I'm really looking forward to the time off and a chance to hang out with old friends, re-stomp my old stomping ground, and enjoy some good old-fashioned R & R.

I know from personal experience that bankers are generally short on vacation time. I'm a bit jealous that you can take an 11 day trip. I'll have to assume that is your one vacation for the year.

Are you coming back to blog?

I'll be back. I'm still playing vacation catch up at work, at home, at class...pretty much everywhere. Maybe I'll blog tomorrow.

Good! But you'll have to work your way back up to the top of my "blogs to look at" list. I use to start with yours, but you've been demoted since you left. I still love you though.
